Overview

• Bartolome is a volcanic islet located off the east coast of Santiago Island.
• 6:30 am leave the hotel.
• The island has one of the most beautiful landscapes in the archipelago.
• It has a volcanic cone that is easy to climb due to stairs and handrail. A grand view of other islands is seen from the top of the cone.
• The Pinnacle Rock is the distinctive characteristic of this island, and the most representative landmark of the Galapagos.
• Wildlife – Land: Lava Herons, Sally Light-foot Crabs, Galapagos Hawks, Lava Cacti.
• Marine Wildlife: Sea Lions, Galapagos Penguins, Marine Iguanas, Galapagos Sharks, White-tip Sharks, Sea Turtles, Rays, Pelagic and Reef Fish.
• Difficulty Level: Moderate – some hiking – slope.
• Activities: Hiking, Snorkeling, Swimming.
